I’ve been a partner with Utility Warehouse since 2008, long enough to have seen the worst of times come round twice. What I do, and have always done, is bundle a family’s chief house bills (energy, mobiles, broadband, and insurance) into one. One account, one monthly bill, one app, one call center, one hell of a difference. Makes budgeting simpler and life much cheaper.
Once upon a time, all research and cost comparisons with customers were done face-to-face. Lots of long distance driving! Post-covid, most people are a lot happier to meet up remotely. The downside is I miss the tea and biscuits. Upside, I can reach out and support households the length and breadth of the country. Did I mention mine is a word-of-mouth business? Boiled down it means I rely on lovely customers to refer me to their nearest and dearest. My fate in their hands : can’t think of anything better.
